Well I have read a few lately. Stiff by Mary Roach, 90 Minutes in Heaven by Don Piper and Marley and Me by John Grogan
All fairly good reads, I liked them all. They have widely different styles. What are you reading?
I will have to check them out. I am reading Barbara Walters, Audition and it really is good...she had a pretty spicy life. Her portrait of her father is particularly touching.
I just finished a book by Joel Robertson, a final book in a series of five about the apolcalypse and how it possibly could occur. His first book The Last Jihad published in 2003 was actually written 6 months before the attack on the World Trade Center and he predicted it happening. His last three books also came true and his predictions have been pretty close...of course, they have all zoomed into the best seller lists. Very evangelical in nature, but ignoring that, a good read.
Sadly, I also just read John Grishams last effort and it was so bad I cannot even remember the title. More courtroom stuff, but very, very dry and boring. Sad to say it was the first book he has written that I did not enjoy.
